Md. Zobayer Hossain Joati, also known as, Zobayer Joti is an Independent Photographer from Dhaka, Bangladesh, currently based in Syracuse, New York. After finishing his Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Engineering, his passion for photography led him to a professional diploma in Photography from Counter Foto - A Center for Visual Arts. He is now a Master of Science (MS) Candidate in Multimedia, Photography and Design at Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University. His works follow Documentary and Fine Art practices that concentrate on different socio-political issues, gender equality, cultural norms, and underrepresented communities. He is currently a member of the VII Community and an Up-Next member of the Diversify Photo Community.
